Meditation can be a great way to meet your spirit guides.  Those experienced with meditation may sit quietly in sacred space in their home, office or in nature or they may choose to play spiritual music.  Others, however, may experience difficulties staying focused and need the benefit of guidance during meditation so that the voice and words lead them towards the purpose of their meditation.  Below are a few guided meditations I found on YouTube that include a variety of styles, music and voices.  I hope you find one of them helpful.  From time to time, I will post more, so check back often, or subscribe to my blog at the bottom of the right column and get notices in real time.

In my previous post, we created a form and chose a name so that we could connect to our Spirit Guide. The next step is to actually communicate with our Guide.  "But", you ask, "if I don't sense my Spirit Guide, how can I communicate with them?" Well then, let's begin there!

Sensing Your Spirit Guide

This exercise will enable you to sense the energy of your Spirit Guide. Seat yourself comfortably in chair, bench or on your bed.  Ask your Guide to come sit beside you. At this point you may or may not feel

I get a lot of messages and questions from frustrated folks that try so hard to meet their Guides and don't ever get validation that their Guide(s) are there.  So, here is a different approach you may find helpful.  You are going to make up a Guide and then treat this Guide as though it were really there. An "imaginary friend" if you will.  Hang with me and hear me through.  The purpose of this exercise is to allow you to have a sense of control and something to identify with instead of just hanging wondering what you should expect.  Also, your Guides will actually be helping you with this exercise so you will be co-creating a form to assist in building a functional link you to your Guide.

Getting Started

To get started, you need to be very clear with your intent. It is not our intent in this exercise to create a "thought form" which in simple terms is a manifestation of energy created to serve a particular task.  Instead,

It is true that part of being a Psychic or Medium is communicating with Spirit Guides.  However, the great news is ANYONE can communicate with Spirit Guides and even better we ALL have our own personal Spirit Guides that stand at the ready to be of service to us .  People often say their Spirit Guides don't talk to them but that isn't true.  It is more a matter of knowing how to recognize when they are talking to you.
